When using an eyelash growth product, you want the application process to be quick and easy. Here is how you use both Nulastin and Rodan + Fields eyelash conditioners:

• Apply once daily along the upper lash line.
• Use a disposable wand to apply the serum each day.
• Let it dry before applying other eye makeup.

As you can see, usage is fairly similar with once daily application along the upper lash line. However, Rodan + Fields says you can layer two coats per day for the first 8-12 weeks while Nulastin recommends just a single coat.

Also important – while Nulastin is safe for lower lashes, Rodan + Fields recommends avoiding the lower lash line. This may be due to the increased likelihood of irritation and discoloration from the prostaglandin in their formula.

Both brands recommend using the product for 4+ months to see full results. Based on a 4 month supply, Rodan + Fields comes out to $55 more expensive than Nulastin.

And since Rodan + Fields only sells through consultants, you either need to sign up as a distributor to buy at a discount or purchase from an existing consultant at retail pricing. Nulastin offers more flexibility since you can buy it online through Amazon or their website.

Over the long run, you’ll spend roughly $50 more every 2 months using Rodan + Fields compared to Nulastin for maintenance assuming consultant pricing.

Before and After Results

Seeing real before and after photos can give you a good idea of the kind of eyelash transformation you can expect from using one of these serums. Here are results from women who used Nulastin or Rodan + Fields for at least 3 months:

My Eyelash Serum Test Results

I’ve rigorously tested both Rodan + Fields Lash Boost and Nulastin to compare performance and see which gave better results for me. Here is what happened:

Like some other users, I experienced significant irritation and redness using Rodan + Fields Lash Boost likely due to the isopropyl cloprostenate. The itching and redness started after just 3 days of use.

I pushed through for 2 weeks using the product every other day to manage the reaction. But the side effects persisted so I ultimately discontinued use. Thankfully my eyes calmed down and went back to normal just 48 hours after quitting the Rodan + Fields serum.

Nulastin gave me zero issues with eye redness or skin darkening even after 6+ months of continued use. I saw amazing lash improvement with this serum and plan to keep using it as part of my regular beauty routine.

So for me, Nulastin is absolutely the winner over Rodan + Fields for safety and performance!
